THE BEACH BOYS. Wow, have they still got it! Folks who were in Las Vegas last month had the awesome opportunity to see the Beach Boys at the Luxor, with frontman Mike Love leading a rousing hit parade that had the audience dancing in the aisles to such tunes as “Little Deuce Coupe,” “409,” “Round, Round,” so many more

MAMMA MIA. Huzzahs also next door for Mamma Mia! which just recently marked its 1,500 th show at Mandalay Bay.

THE BEATLES REVOLUTION LOUNGE. There's a brand new place to “come together” and that's The Beatles Revolution Lounge , along with the Abbey Road Bar sitting outside the theater that houses The Beatles Love show, all at the Mirage.

SUPER SATURDAY CELEBRATION. Bring the family to the Super Saturday Celebration at Ethel Pearson Park on January 6 for refreshments, musical entertainment including dance performances, a jump house, face painting and mini workshops for the adults, all FREE.

"WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE". The New American Theatre Project presents “Wake Up and Smell the Coffee” at the Las Vegas Little Theater, 3920 Schiff, on Jan. 9 (702.360.9959).

SLOAN CANYON HIKE. Part of the Walk/Talk Workshops sponsored by the Clark County Museum and Bureau of Land Management, a Sloan Canyon hike (moderate – some rock scrambling) is scheduled for January 13 (702.455.7955).

Mystic Falls Park comes alive with a laser, light and water spectacular. Each day at 2pm, 6pm, 8pm and 10pm.

The Battle At Treasure Island
The Hispaniola vs. the HMS Britannia. The best fight in Las Vegas doesn't take place in a boxing ring. Every 90 minutes beginning at 4pm
